VIA Teko Design & Business

After one month my studies, I think that it is time to talk little more about my school. I found out it from Scandinavian study organization (more info here) . It was very great for me, because they helped me with everything. I had to deal so many administrative stuffs and even when I have some problem now I can ask them and they help me very quickly every time.

So, I attend VIA University College, expecially VIA Teko Design and Business in Herning. VIA University College is general name for every field of study. My school (VIA Teko) is special, because here are focus only "design and bussiness" fields of study. We have here 5 fields of study (more info here). I chose AP degree Retail Design and Management (2 years/ 4 semesters). I like it, because I will learn so many things about bussiness, management and sales skills and expecially about design. Retail design because it's more general for every facilities. I can decorate interior for shops, restaurants, hotels as good as for homes. (more info here). After I can continue for Retail Design BA - top up degree and end with Bachelor degree (1,5 year/ 3 semester)

This branch of study has so many advantages. First, how I said, it is more general and you learn so much from everything. Teachers says (and it is truth) that we have to can sale ourself, doing bussiness, be creative, imaginative and openminded too. The most useful sentence here is: " How to turn your idea into your business?" The second thing is that at 3. semester we have to go to intership in abroad. We have to find some company and spend here about 8 weeks. (Honestly, I am not sure how long)  SOOOOO cool!! I am looking forward sooo much. :) When I will continue with BA top degree (I will) then intership is on 6. semester. So when you'll finish your Bachelor degree you will have already completed two interships and maybe job offers too!! :)

And how does it work here? We don't have schedule for whole semester now. Our school has a studinet, so it is internet website where our teachers add homeworks, literature, notes, presentations and here we can find calendar for each day. Generally we have two subjects per day. One from 8:20 till 11:15 and second one from 11:45 till 14:40. We have short breaks between them too of course.
The whole schedule is split for two parts. Some weeks we have only normal schedule with two subjects per day and sometime we have together project for all of branchs of study. So what you have learned, you can use it.
On these principles are stand all subjects. I am used to way learning by hurt or only sitting on my chair and listening what teacher say, but here we have conversation together all the time, or when we listen something then we are split into groups and we have to work together on some little project. And this is every day on every class! Amazing! :) It is very very good for you, when you can use it immediately.

Okay, I think it is all what I want to say. :)

 I am only on the beginning but I see totally differences here and I know that it is good and right for me.
